Last year, Realme released the Realme Band and Realme Watch last year. The new Watch S Pro is a step up from the previous Watch S and there are some meaningful upgrades, including iOS support, bigger battery and AMOLED display with higher pixel density and resolution.

Design

Visually, the Realme Watch S Pro has similar looks compared to the original Watch S. It still uses the SUS316L stainless steel case with brushed sides and polished front. If you occasionally drop the smartwatch, it should still work just fine. There are a couple of physical buttons and they give great feedback. Around the back, there are SpO2 sensor, heart rate sensor and charging pins. It is safe to wear the Realme Watch S Pro for swimming or showering, because the smartwatch can withstand up to 50 meters of water.

Display

The 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass and 454 x 454 pixel resolution offers good touch responses and nice vibrancy. There are five-level brightness adjustments with 450 nits of peak brightness. It’s bright enough to use the smartwatch under direct sunlight. There’s Always-On-Display feature to improve usability. It comes preloaded with eight watch faces and many more can be downloaded from the Realme Link. If you want to save battery life and disable the Always On Display feature, there’s also to wake up the display each time you lift your wrist.

Software

Realme S Pro comes with proprietary operating system. The Realme Link app is useful for setting up the smartwatch to sync data and customize various settings. As mentioned above, the companion Realme Link app is finally available for iPhone and iPad. It should be quite fast to pair the Watch S Pro with Android smartphones and iPhone. The Watch S Pro offers an overall straightforward and simple UI. When you swipe the display from the right side, you will get quick shortcuts for lift wrist to wake screen, DND, brightness adjustment, flashlight and power saver.

Hardware

Inside, there’s ARM Cortex-M4 processor, which does a good job in ensuring good experience to run the operating system. Inside, the Realme Watch S Pro offers automatic step counter, SpO2 sensor to measure blood oxygen level and heart rate monitoring. Sensors of this smartwatch is quite are quite accurate for tracking heart rate information and sleep performance. With good accuracy, you will be able to get good analysis on information. The dual GPS and GLONASS location tracking systems are for monitoring walking, cycling, jogging and running.

Battery

With 420mAh battery, the Realme Watch S Pro gives you two weeks of operational time on a single charge. You can get this battery performance, even when you enable heart rate monitoring 24/7, receive 100 notifications each day, receive 20 phone call notifications each day, raise-to-wake feature activations 80 times a day, a few synchronizations with Realme Link each day and two alarms each day. You may get shorter battery life, with maximum display brightness, always on display enabled for 7 hours each day and set vibration to strong.
